Privacy policy
Lazo helps venture firms find who in their own network can help a portfolio company. This page explains what Lazo collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and work email when you sign in.
- Your firm's network data, read from the CRM or file your firm connects.
- If you connect a mailbox: who you email and meet with, how often, and titles, companies, and LinkedIn links from email signatures. Lazo processes email to extract these facts and does not store the email itself.
- Early access requests: the details you enter in the form.
How we use it
- To rank people and intro paths for your firm's requests, and to track intros and outcomes.
- Facts from your mailbox stay private to you unless you choose to share them with your firm.
- Lazo never sends email on your behalf. Your team approves and sends every ask.
- Lazo never stores phone numbers from email signatures.
Who we share it with
Each firm's data is kept separate. We use service providers to run Lazo, including hosting (Vercel), the database (Supabase), and an AI model provider (Anthropic by default, or the provider your firm connects). We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
You can disconnect your mailbox at any time, and Lazo deletes the facts it extracted from it. To ask about your data, contact your firm's Lazo admin.
Google user data
Lazo's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
